Hi!
I'm beginning to use the Newsstand console in NPrinting.
I log in with a Newsstand user and I want to run a trigger and send a mail (definited in the nprinting console from a developer user).
I created a subscription and the task is updated but no mail is sent.
Moreover I do not find a "Run Now" feature, but only the ability to schedule (daily, weekly,..) the subscription.
Do you know how to help me?
I tried to give the user greater rights but no results..
Thank you
Hi Federica,
NewsStand is the web portal for users. In the NewsStand a user can see the reports he/she is authorized to view and it is possible to trigger reports refresh. In this case they will be published in the NewsStand. Refer to NewsStand overview ‒ Qlik NPrinting.
To send reports via email you must configure a trigger in a publish task in the web console.
Run now is a feature or publish task and it is usually used to test the task. Refer to Distributing user specific QlikView reports by e-mail ‒ Qlik NPrinting
More details are available on the official help site What is Qlik NPrinting? ‒ Qlik NPrinting
Best Regards,
Ruggero

thank you very much Ruggero.
An explanation : if the task is already configured in the web console from the develeper, there is no way to run the task and send mail from Newstand console?
Even giving greater rights to the user creating a personal role?
Tasks can publish reports to NewsStand but cannot be runned from NewsStand. So you cannot send reports via email from NewsStand (a part, of course, download a report and send it as an email attachment, but this is a manual procedure).
Maybe you can evaluate:
- deliver reports to folders Distributing reports to folders ‒ Qlik NPrinting. When a task is executed it can save reports to folders, but still not possible to trigger it via NewsStand.
- On-Demand On-Demand reports ‒ Qlik NPrinting
- create a custom application by using APIs Extending Qlik NPrinting ‒ Qlik NPrinting. In this case you need a developer
