Solved: Nprinting 17 tasks go to NewsStand, email fails - Qlik Community

Hi guys,

Any idea why a series of excel reports would publish to NewsStand, but fail on email?

Keeps happening and the logs just say it failed with no further information.

How big is your attachment? Does SMTP server handle the file you are trying to send?

Dear Chris,

Have you setup your SMTP server?

Please make sure the email you set in SMTP is a valid email which able to send email thru your outlook.

*User ID and Password are good to use the same with the email address.

Dear Chris,

You may use telnet to test on your SMTP address and port. To make sure the access is enable from your Qlik Sense Server to Your SMTP Server.

This isn't what's causing it. Not all tasks fail to email. Just one.
