Number Format in NPrinting

Hi,

I have a number Format Problem in Qlik Sense NPrinting Pixel Perfect.

In Charts I Formated the Point Labels to V{#.000%}. In the designer mode it Shows me correct with Point (e.g. 2.05%). But when I preview the Report it Shows me again with comma(,). And after "Save and Close" it's also Switch again to comma(",").

-->instead of 2.05% it shows 2,05%. How can I set it correct?

Also in the tousend separator I don't find the " '  " as separator. I only habe space (1 365) oder comma (1,365) but I Need 1'365. Where is this Setting Option?

I checked the NPrinting guide therefor and there is written:

"Decimal point. The first '.' character in the format string determines the location of the decimal separator in the formatted value; any additional '.' characters are ignored. The actual character used as a decimal separator in the output string is determined by the DecimalSeparator global variable or its TFormatSettings equivalent."

And the same in tousand separator.

So the "TFormatSetting" must be changed because it's determined as global, or not?

And If yes, where can I Change the TFormatSetting?Any ideas?

Hi,

Based on some tests you need to check the Windows regional settings of all Qlik NPrinting Server and Engines computer by login with the Windows user that runs the Qlik NPrinting Windows services.
If you change the regional setting you must restart the Qlik NPrinting Windows services that are running on that computer. The reason is that the services read the settings only during the startup.

Ruggero

I already changed regional Settings of the Server (but after the Installation of NPrinting).

Where are the Regional Settings of Enignes?

I have the User Settings and there the regional Settings are correct..

Hi,

I mean Windows Regional Settings. There it is specified the character that will be used as decimal separator etc. Be sure that in all the computers where Qlik NPrinting Server and Engines are installed they are set to the value you want.

Ok,

The regional Settings of the qlik sense NPrinting Server and of the Qlik Sense Server are fine. (decimal = . and tousand separator ='). It still doesnt work.

Important:

In the Designer itself it Shows me the correct decimal. Only when I send the Report by pdf or preview it's changing back to "," as decimal.

Is it not  a "TFormatSetting" Problem?

Thanks for your help! It's working now. The Problem was that the Regional Setting on the Server was only on my User. So I had also to Change it on the Service User and on The Service User on the Qlik Sense Server. Then I re-installed NPrinting.

Now It Works! I'm not sure if all steps above were necessary but at least I'm fine now.

Hi!

We are facing a similar problem, but in our case we need to make this format change dynamic. We need to send reports based on EU and US formats to different clients. We can do these distributions one after another, but we need to have an option to switch the settings without reinstalling the NP system.

Do you know if it's possible?
