On-Demand reporting control is not supported in this environment

Hi guys,

I've updated my Qliksense-Environment to November2025 und my NPrinting-Version is February 2024 IR.

After th Qliksense update I get following error by clicking "onDemand-Report":

"On-Demand reporting control is not supported in this environment"

Is the solution to update my NPrinting-Version?

Regards
Chris

Hi,

This is solved by Qlik Sense November 2025 Patch 1 https://community.qlik.com/t5/Release-Notes/Sense-Enterprise-on-Windows-Release-Notes-November-2025-...

HI @wunderch

I always follow the https://help.qlik.com site for those kinds of issues.

There it says (which is general rule anyway) that your NPrinting version should be the same or newer than Qlik Sense so my first thing would be to upgrade NPrinting.

If you do that and you still have issues I would check OnDemand button configuration and whether all requirements are met like SSL certificates

Hi @Lech_Miszkiewicz
thanks for your answer.
I updated my NPrinting to February 2025 SR3, but the message is still the same.

Hi @wunderch

If you think you meet all other requirements listed in help site ( https://help.qlik.com ) and you are running supported environment and this is still not working then open support ticket.

If you wish to troubleshoot this more here we would need more details like:

  • screenshot of the issue
  • screenshot of the issue in browser Developers Tool
    • there likely you will see more details regarding actual error
    • on those screenshots it would be good to see url bar of the browser to confirm you are on correct SSL certs
  • we would need to confirm web browser you are using
  • would need to confirm the trusted origin settings in admin console
  • and many more... there is this video which you may want skim through to check if you meet everything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHVBVoLy16Y

cheers

@wunderch
Could you try to remove and recreate the On-Demand button? Does it work?
Collect an HAR file when you replicate the error. If you are used to these files, you will find information to better understand the problem. In any case, please, share it with Qlik Support if you open a new case.

Hi @Andrea_Bertazzo
I removed the button and recreated it in the app, no changes.

I made  a brandnew app in Version November 2025 and create a new button...same Message.

Can I delete the extension in QMC and repair the Qllik Sense Object bundle in the control panel?
