Publish Task question. Does a publish task have to have a user specified in order to publish report to a standard folder?

Hello all,

I have created an NPrinting report which will be published to a standard folder.

I have created a folder destination in the Folders page in NPrinting.

When I run the report it doesn't publish to the folder. However when I enter a user like myself to the same task then it runs the report and publishes to the folder.

Have I missed a piece of information? Does a publish task have to have a user specified in order to publish report to a standard folder?

I was under the impression you could publish a report to a folder without specifying a user.

Hi Michael,

You must have at least one user as a recipient. If not, no report will be generated and you will find something like this in the Scheduler log:

Task No User is configured so that all recipients are disabled. No report will be generated

Hi,

I would to add that you can select to send reports to a folder for all users or only to selected ones.

Folder by User.png
