Hi,
I see an option "QlikEntity" while creating NPrinting reports. What is it exactly? How does it differ from a ppt or excel NPrinting report? And the source can be only Qlikview, or can we have Qliksense as well?
Hi Reshma,
Yes. Qlik Entity reports are possible only with QlikView Connections.

"Qlik Entity" are PDF reports that you could build with QlikView.
Hi,
Using this template we can export / create reports based on QlikView objects and also distribute reports based on saved QlikView reports & also export specific objects as images to CSV files
Steps to create QlikView Entity Report
https://community.qlik.com/docs/DOC-8455
Note: the output can only be an image file.
i.e If you imported a QlikView object such as a chart or sheet, the output can only be in PDF or TIFF format.
we can add filters to dynamically select the data which is published in the report.
below o/p format supported in this method,
in addition, this method supported in qliksense object as well.
Thanks
Deva
Hi,
I am trying to create a Qlik entity report to understand it better. I created a connection to Qliksense. In the create report screen, I gave the type as QlikEntity. But, no connections are available under the option "connection". Its grayed out. Is it because, it can connect to only qlikview and not sense? or am I doing something wrong?
Hi Reshma,
Yes. Qlik Entity reports are possible only with QlikView Connections.

Hi,
Please specify that this screenshot is related to Qlik NPrinting 16.
Best Regards,
