Qlik NPrinting vs Qalyptus

Hello everyone,

Currently, I am evaluating a tool to create reports from a Qlik Sense App. I like Qlik Nprinting, but I came up with an alternative that claims it can do the same as NPrinting. I have also researched this new tool and it looks good because it allows me to install it on the same machine as Qlik Sense, for example, and it also works with Qlik Cloud. On the contrary, I would like to defend Qlik NPrinting, but I have found wonders about Qalyptus. Does anyone know about this tool or an unbiased document I can use?

Hi, There are other than NPrinting tools and they provide sometimes better or more robust functionalities. For me the dealbreaker is support of those tools and finger-pointing  when something goes wrong. In those cases Qlik says it is other tool not working and other tool says that Qlik has changed something casing issues.

This for me is the biggest element why I always stay with Qlik NPrinting. As Qlik partner I have a comfort that I am able to open support case with single vendor and there will be no issue as the same vendor is providing us with BI and reporting tool.

Thanks for you answer! I totally agree with you and the support is a huge dealbreaker with other vendors, although they claim they can do everything NPrinting does.

kind of true Qlik hasn't done much to improve NPrinting lately... 😞

That is so true and so disappointing. There is so much what could be improved in NPrinting but it lost its momentum given that its not supporting SaaS and Qlik seems to put all eggs in SaaS.

Hi @amarkow ,

We are not yet a Qlik Partner, even if we are in frequent contact with the Qlik team.
Becoming a partner is on our to-do list for this year.
