Qlik Nprinting Designer Word Template

Whenever I try to edit any word template from the Qlik Nprinting, the Nprinting Designer shows an error of "Qlik Nprinting Designer Can't find a supported reporting template editor for the file". This issue only occurs with the word template. However, all of the Excel and other MS tools are working properly.

I know that the same issue has been addressed previously, I have tried all of the mentioned workarounds with no clue. The other thing is the previous posts are mainly talking about Excel. While I am facing this issue with MS word only.

The Nprinting Designer technical version is 22.15.11.0

I would appreciate your help, please.

Thanks. SR

Hi Ruggero,

Thanks for your Help.

The reinstall of Microsoft Office didn't solve it. Solution four works for me only after I changed other settings. Check below the steps I have gone through which worked:

  • Go to NPrintingDesigner.exe at "C:\Program Files (x86)\NPrinting\Designer"
  • Right Click and select properties
  • Browse to Compatibility
  • Select Change Settings for all Users
  • Tick Disable fullscreen optimizations
  • Tick Run this program as an administrator
