Is there a way to continue paging and cycling but to show the first tab of an XLS as a summary that contains everything in the cycle?
Also, I have a table box from QVW with number formatted with "," separator and no decimals but when I look at it in NP, the formatting is not there. Importing as an image instead of table fixes the formatting but then the image displayed isn't fully expanded so not all of the data is included. Keep Source Formats is checked.
Thanks,
Cassandra

There is a way to do exactly what you are asking for. In your excel tempalte you have set up paging and when you do that, the excel tab on the bottom contains the dimension that you are paging over. What you will need to do is crate a new excel tab (or use an existing one, move to the firat tab and rename the tab as 'Summary' for example. On that tab, you will place the same objects as you ahve on your paging tab.
When the excel report is created, the firat tab will be the sumamry (without paging) and all of the other tabs will contain jsut the inforamtion based on the paging dimension you have specified

Thank you!
On my second question, is there any drawback to importing a Chart as a table to avoid inconsistent formatting issues?
Cassandra
you are more than welcome
regarding your second question, what inconsistancies are you finding? What type of chart are you referring t?
Cassandra
does not look like I thoroughly read the second part of your question
When importing any object into NPrinting as an image, the iamge in NPrinting should look jsut like the object does in QlikView at that point in time. If the the formatting/appearance between Qlik and Nprinting is different, that is very interesting.
can you possibly post screen samples of the object in QlikView and Nprinting?

An update regarding your issue with inconsistant results with table box?
Hi Adam,
Sorry about the delay. I was able to overcome the issue by using a chart instead of a table box. Apparently this was a known issue at some point. Thanks for the follow up, though.
glad to hear it was resolved
