Table unable to Load into NPrinting

We use Nprinting V16.6.... (is connecting to a Qlikview app)

in Qlikview we have a special Nprinting sheet. this sheet contains a lot of objects and tables.

in 1 of the tables we also display the email-addresses where Nprinting needs to send the report to.

when I try and run this task it start failing and is saying that there is en Error loading recipients.

I have tried the following all with the same result.

1. create a new N-printing file. connect to the same app and get the same table (didn't work same error)

2. created a new Qlikview app (barebone app) and created a new Nprinting file get a newly created table that contains emails and names only. (didn't work same error)

attached also the screenshot of the error i'm getting

Hi,

Please check that the table still exists in the connected, it has the ID linked in QlikView NPrinting and regenerate the connection cache to be sure there are no errors. Check that the table has correct data. In Qlik NPrinting 16 user import task you have to map files of the source table and link them with the users parameters so check also that the import task has the correct settings.

QlikView NPrinting 16 is out of support since March 2020 so plan the migration to Qlik NPrinting 17+ (latest version is May 2022 SR3) as soon as possible.

Best Regards,

Ruggero

Check that the table has correct data.

Yes the table that Nprinting should get got data init with email-addresses in them the data in that qlikview table is valid.

example:

Store Email
1 1Store@example.com

In Qlik NPrinting 16 user import task you have to map files of the source table and link them with the users parameters

how do I check this?

Also that the import task has the correct settings.

see screenshot: after that I pressed oke.

Hi,

Refer to the attached tutorial. After adding the QlikView table in the recipients import it will ask you to associate the table columns with the recipient fields.

@MartW with Nprinting 16 being so old there are very few remaining people in Qlik that can help with it, so as @Ruggero_Piccoli said be sure to migrate soon, here is our migration guide:

regarding the actual question - @MartW, are you using version of QlikView which still supports your version of NPrinting?

Its possible that you have upgraded QlikView without realising that NPrinting support has ended for that version and hence you now have issues?
