Variable in Header or Footer of Excel report

Hi,

I have the Problem that an PDF Export from an Excel report doesn't have the filename in the footer.

As Workaround I tried to use a variable in the footer, but it didn't work.

Does variables work in footer and header of an Excel report at all?

Has somebody an idea how to solve this problem?

Thanks!

Hi there,

It isn't possible to use Qlik Variables by drag & drop nor or by manually typing the name of the variable into  the MS header and footer.

This is also mentioned here: https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Qlik-NPrinting-Unsupported-QlikView-Document...

The only options available are those default or custom options (which you might be able to use to workaround this known MS excel limitation).

Kind regards...
