Hi,
Under which circumstances would you use "Override Values" function in Filter options in NPrinting?
Is it when you may have pre-selected values in a QlikView app using Actions button and want to override that? I am struggling to think of any other reasons but please mention if I am on the right lines or forgot something else.
Hi Michael,
Filters are applied in sequence (task -> user -> report -> object). Override values has to do with overriding previously applied filters on the same field. The online documentation has some clear examples that demonstrate the use of Override values among other aspects of filters. I suggest you go through the whole section:
HTH - Daniel.

I have read the referenced article, but it is still unclear to me what happens when there are multiple filters with Override value selected.
For example the first Report filter selects in Country USA and Russia; The second Report filter selects in Company - A and B. However company B has branches also in Germany.
If Override Values is applied to both filters, would the result include data for Germany as well, because the first Country selection was overridden? Or would it show the intersect of the two filters - data for A and B companies just for USA and Russia?
Thank you!
