Hi ,
When working on Nprinting designer and while doing the preview. Suddenly nprinting designer goes not responding and won't become normal again. We have to close it from task manager forcefully. Due to this we cannot save and close the work we did on designer.
Currently we are using the designer on windows 2016 server. We are facing this issue in dev environment only where as in prod we don't have any issue. We have same versions and settings both in dev and prod. Kindly help us to resolve this issue.
Hi,
We need more information to understand what can be the problem.
First of all February 2021 is no more supported, so upgrade as soon as possible better to the latest available version.
Be sure to fill in all the requirements listed in https://help.qlik.com/en-US/nprinting/May2022/Content/NPrinting/DeployingQVNprinting/System-requirem.... Try to reinstall the Designer and Office. Check the Task Executions page and the Qlik NPrinting log files to see if there are specific error messages. Be sure you have at least one Engine running correctly. Be sure that the connections used in the template are all working properly.
If the preview is still running it could also be that you are simply previewing a huge report that requires a long time to be generated.
Best Regards,
Ruggero
