Hi everyone,
I am trying to set up a fresh Qlik Replicate in a Windows VM, I've done all the steps as mentioned in the Qlik Documentation however I received this error whenever I try to browse to https://hostname/attunityreplicate
SYS,GENERAL_EXCEPTION,The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
Steps I have done:
Install Qlik Replicate
Change Data Folder to F: Drive
Change Qlik Replicate and Qlik Replicate Services to a non-admin user, both running fine.
Did a certificate clean and ran netsh http add sslcert to port 443 for with my self sign cert for HTTPS support
Checked the Repuictl logs and saw this error after the one above :
Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream
Anyone know what's the issue here?
Hello @benyang ,
Thanks for the post in community.
Not sure if you import your own certificate to the Replicate Server by Microsoft Management Console, MMC.EXE. this step should be done prior to "netsh http add sslcert" command. The detailed steps of Replacing the self-signed certificate on Windows.
Hope this helps.

John.

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply.
So once I import my certificate and run "netsh http add sslcert" command, my Qlik Replicate UI console will be under the new certificate name?
For example:
VM name: QlikVM001@domain.com
Cert name: QlikCluster@domain.com
So after running the netsh command, I will access the Qlik Replicate UI console via QlikCluster@domain.com?
Hi @benyang ,
In general Yes, because all of them are based on the same hostname.
In fact the console url link is defined in file "ServiceConfiguration.xml" under Replicate DATA Folder.
Regards,
John.
