Hello Theresa Nguyen, @lqthinguyen

The V$TIMEZONE_NAMES view in Oracle provides a list of all the time zone names that are supported by the Oracle database. This view is particularly useful when we need to work with time zones in your database operations. However, the inaccessibility of this view should not prevent a task from running. You can verify access by connecting to the Oracle server via SQL*Plus using the same account as the one configured for the Oracle endpoint, and executing the following query:

SELECT DISTINCT TZNAME FROM V$TIMEZONE_NAMES;

If you require assistance, please open a support ticket and attach the diagnostic packages. Our support team will be more than happy to assist you.

Regards,

John.

Good morning Mr. Wang,

I did precisely that "SELECT DISTINCT TZNAME FROM V$TIMEZONE_NAMES;" and quite aware what the purpose of V$TIMEZONE_NAMES

Meanwhile if you notice that the error message was looking for a "numeric" value not a "character" furthermore the Replicate task stopped and resumed about 20mns later in which this frequency is more than once or twice.

Thank you

Hello Theresa Nguyen, @lqthinguyen ,

Thanks for the update. You are right, the error messages contains a "numeric" value however it seems we never see it before, and I cannot find any related information about it from our knowledge database, this is a pretty rare error message, that's why I'd like to suggest opening a support ticket. We need to check the task settings and task log files to understand the root cause.

thanks,

John.

Hi @lqthinguyen

What is the full version number of the Oracle database and Oracle client on the Replicate server being used?

I've seen issues where using the version 12 client with version 19 server can cause issues as the time zone files may not match.

Thanks,

Dana
