Filter All Visuals in a report based on the values in a Column in a Table. The table was filtered based on the user input for ANOTHER column.

Hi,

I need a report (sheet) with multiple Visuals and KPIs that will be filtered by the values in a column (Order_Number) ("Column 2") in a Table (Table 1) that has another column where the user will input the items in another Column (Product Number) ("Column 1")to be looked up.

The rest of the visuals (tables, pie charts, KPIs, etc..) should be filtered by the "Colum 2" values (Order_Number).

For example / use case:

- The user inputs a Product Number - "1234-00" in the Table1 in the Column "Product_Number", and that tables shows all the Order Numbers in the Column "Order_Number".

The rest of the Visuals are filtered by the "Order_Number" values.

So, if I have another table (Table 2), will show me ALL the items under the Order Numbers filtered (showing the "1234-00" and other Product Numbers inside of the Orders filtered) and not only the "123-00" items.

Is there a way to achieve this?

Thanks for the help!

Hi, @jadherm9

If you can detail the result you are looking for, send an example of your data set, and what you want to obtain as a result.

But here are some suggestions, assumption:

1 - Use the all qualifier, example from the qlik help documentation
sum(All fied)
sum({1} Total field)

https://help.qlik.com/pt-BR/sense/November2023/Subsystems/Hub/Content/Sense_Hub/ChartFunctions/defin...

2 – Use the symbol {“*”} – it will select all values except null values

{<Order_Number= {"*"}>}

Regarts,
Matheus
