Qlikview and QLiksense shared sceduling ?
Hello QLIk view and QLik Sense experts.
We are in starting using QLik Sense and had originaly a plan of using QLikview Extract layer as a source for QLikSense.
For doing that we will need the two applications to talk to eachother.
When QLikview is finnished with its extract layer - we would like the QLik Sense load to start.
Please suggest any solutions for this.
Another possibility is to read directly from the database.

Hey @ingridhusby17,
- QlikSenseTask is an obvious target for a supporting task if the desire is for a pre-compiled binary.
- Qlik-Cli (specifically this style of work-flow) is another option for executing a PowerShell script to accomplish the same.
Hope that helps.

Hi,
Why you are using extract layer in Qlikview, we can able to extract and transform using qliksense also.

Hi Somasundaram
We have some reports in QlikView we don't want to convert to QlikSense.
And we have a lot of extracts made in QLikView already.
Our thought was then to let the extract layer be a qlikview thing.
Not having two extract layers one for qlikview one for qliksense.
