Application Open in Ajax Mode instead of IE Plugin Mode

Hi All,

I am facing very strange issue while opening a document in IEPlugin mode.

I have one document which has one button on it which, on click, redirect user to another application.

I did this, by adding action "Open Qlikview Document" & then providing IEPlugin URL of the Target Application.

Now when I open Main Application in IEPlugin Mode & click on the button,Target Application gets open in Ajax Mode

not in IEPlugin Mode.

This issue is not face when I open it through another machine.

So, Is this specific to Internet Options Settings or something else.?

It will be really helpful,if anyone tells me the reason / solution.

P.S. We are using QlikView Server 11.2 SR3 & Internet Explore v8

-Regards,

Kiran

I dunno. A workaround could be to configure your second document to open in IEPlugin mode only? See QMC->User Documents->Server->Availability->Access Point->Access Method (SBE)

Please check your default page open setting for Qlikview Access Point, is it AJAX mode or IE Plugin mode. I think your default page is AJAX mode so that when you click on button it open in AJAX mode. Change your default setting for page open in IE Plugin mode.

Thanks Ram Krishna for your reply.

The default page is set to IEPlugin Mode  but still doestn't serve the purpose.

Thanks Siva

As per Miguel,if I am using IE8 then QlikView 11.2 SR3 should support it. Also, My machine in 32 bit.

But,since he is mentioning about upgrading to the latest version of QlikView server, desktop and plugin,

I will confirm with IT Team & try to upgrade to QlikView 11.2 SR5,if possible.

Kiran
