Cannot install Qlikview due to Control number not available

Hi there,

We used to have a team in our company to develop and manage our qlikview servers.

However they have left the company, we are now trying to pick up the internal support of the qlikview server within our company.

At the moment, our team is trying to migrate our Qlikview instance to new VMs because the current Windows OS version is old, and already passed the end-of-support.

We can see the serial number/LEF from the QMC of the existing instance, but we dont have the Control number for the installation at the new VM.

I have already followed the steps below, but cannot see any license details, likely because the license information is not under my account but under the account the team members who are no longer working with us.

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/How-to-request-a-control-number-and-LEF/ta-p...

May I know how can I proceed further with the installation?

Regards

Billy

Suggest you try the chat feature again. It is manned by quite a few engineers and I know people are standing by right now. If you are unable to use chat, then you can try to call Qlik Customer Support at 877-754-5843.

Hi,

Your best bet is to reach out to your AM(Account Manger) for help. That way if you need additional help the AM can arrange for Consulting Services to help.

Thanks for your reply @Chip_Matejowsky

Unfortunately, our licenses have already been expired, and there is no license information available under my qlikview account, I do not have access to create a support case.

Tried also the support chat function, but no live agent is available, the bot forwarded me to the support case portal which I dont have access to post. A bit stuck with this stage at the moment. 😞

Regards

Billy
