Hello everyone,
There are several named users and all of them can access to every document in the access point.
How can I deny the access to one of them to one document ?
I have read I could add a "section access" in the document.. How does this work ?
Do i have to provide a user name and a password to the people who has a CAL and to the named users that are allowed to see the document ?
Thank you for your help
Hi,
Option1 is easier.
for Option2 have a look at the attached document.

If yes it can be Handel by publisher with NTFS security.

I don't have any "authorization" tab.
I have Server, Document Information, Reload, Documents CALs.
I don't have Publisher.
Thank you
No, I don't have publisher...
Is there a way to do it withour publisher ?
Yes,
You have to go to Qlikview file Right click --> properties --> Security --> Remove group everyone and add respective peoples here.
Note:
Let say if you add admin group the all the users belong to admin group will have access, provided if they have allocated a cal either named or document.
Make sure not to remove your or service account or else you will be locking yourself.

When I go there, it looks like there is no way to choose to who I give access to...
(Sorry, it in French) But just to say that I don't see where to choose the access.
Are you sure I can do it here ? Or otherwise I wouldn't mind if all the named user can see the application but then have to enter a password to open it.
Thanks again for your help
Hi
You need not to open file do to your folder and select Qlikview file Right Click on it and select properties and follow my instructions above.
Have a look at attached file.

I see, thank you.
The problem is I am not allowed to remove "everyone"... 😕
Any other solutions ?
HI,
Contact your system administrator.
He may help you out here
or you can even go with section access with NT.

What is NT (in section access) ?
I would prefer using a solution where I don't depend on someone else (my system administrator).
Thanks again for your help Ashfaq
