Directory service connector unable to resolve groups

Hi,

we have a clustered Qlikview environment on which clustering is done for the directory service connector also .

The DSC on one particular node has been creating problems and users are not able to see the documents on the access point.

In the DSC logs it reads as below for every such user logging in the access point:

20210920T060105.541-0400 Information User's and DSPs domains are different. No search will be performed for LDAP\****** in this domain: ad
20210920T060105.541-0400 Information Resolved 0 groups for LDAP\*****:

basically it is not resolving the groups for the users logging in .

Any thoughts on this or anyone who can guide me in the right direction.

Regards,

Faashid

It seems like one of the DSC services on one of the nodes may be corrupted.
Please try the below steps :

1) Turn of the Qlik DSC service on the node in question.
2) Delete the DSC folder.
3) Restart the services and check a new DSC folder should get created.

@fashid  has this clustered node ever worked? What version of QlikView are you currently on? If you look at the DSC for the node that is having problems is there a little red asterisk beside the DSC connection?

If the issue is solved please mark the answer with Accept as Solution.

Hi @fashid,

In addition to Lucas's great advice, what type of DSP do you have configured for your DSC cluster - Active Directory, Configurable LDAP, Configurable ODBC?  If you check the QMS logs, do you see any warnings or errors for this particular DSC cluster node?  Thanks!
