Hi,
Visit this link and copy the LEF info.
http://lef1.qliktech.com/manuallef/
Once you get the LEF info, then on Server provide License Key, Control No. and paste the LEF info.
This way you will not require the Server Connection to Validate the License.

Hi,
I'm facing the same issue (Failing to set license...).
I've tried to obtain the LEF through http://lef1.qliktech.com/manuallef/ and copy it togheter with license and control keys, but the same message appears (Failing to set license...Failed to connect to server).
How is it possibile if no internet connection is required using LEF?
The version of Qlik Server I'm using is 11.0.11154.0.
Hi g.rodeghiero
We have the same issue as you, i found out that .NET 4 is installed but the features of .NET 3.5 is suppose to be activated to QV works better, so i realize that in the server only are the features of .NET 3.0 so when we checked the features are activated then we try again and let you know.
Hi g.rodeghiero
We have success in activate the license now but the OS was Win Server 2008 Enterprise wich doesn't have installed the features .NET 3.5 as i said in my previous post and the retry was after the OS was changed to Win Server 2008 R2 so we cannot document if the lack of features .NET 3.5 was the real problem, sorry but it would be nice to you to check that or open a new post for this issue,
Regards!
I'm having this issue today trying to install Qlikview Server 11 on Win Server 2008 R2. I had installed .NET 4.0 beforehand - what version of Qlikview are you using? If you are using QV Server 11, then I thought .NET 4.0 was required?
Just trying to check so that I can troubleshoot further.
