Does anyone know how to successfully roll back 64 bit QlikView Server V10 SR1 to V9 SR7 on a Windows Server 2003 box?
I upgrading to V10 Server on a test box and would like to revert to V9, but I was unable to start the Qlikview Management Service. So, I uninstalled V9 and removed all the files from the "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech" and "C:\Program Files\QlikView" folders.
Now, I can't reinstall version version 9. It gets through copying 90% of the file and then rolls back.
Any suggestions?

try to remove entries from registry for qlikview
then Install it agin.

1. Yes, I reinstarted the machine between uninstall and reinstall.
2. I'll try generating the log file. Good Suggestion.

Removed all entries from the registry, but the problem persisted by version 9 SR7. Removed the registry entries again and was successfull with version 9 SR6. Then upgraded to SR7 successfully.
