Even after the plug-in is installed, the installation pop-up continues to appear.

If desktop/plug-in is already installed, it won't prompt you to upgrade it.
First double check that you have a plug-in folder in this location , C:\Program Files (x86)\QlikView (unless you picked a different location when installing)
Then, as a test, uninstall the plug-in and install the full QlikView Desktop, then the plug-in should also be installed.
Then try to access the AccessPoint from the same computer.
QlikView Desktop means QlikView Server?
The QlikView server is version 12.40 and the plugin is 12.20, but when I open the qvw file in AccessPoint this window appears without the plugin update popup. What should I do?
