Inventory my doc-calls

Hi All,

I'm missing 2 doc-calls.

We have 50 doc-calls.

If I count the doc-calls that are allocated to the documents I count 30 doc-calls.

The server is saying that I have 18 document calls that er NOT allocated to a document.

I think that there are 2 documents who are deleted but where we didn't delete the doc-call..

Is there a list where we have an inventory of our doc-calls?

regards,

Kris

Hi,

Can you check if any other application is assigned a Doc Cal?

If not then follow Document attached by Andrew.

There is also a nice QlikView tool that will help you with the detection of CAL anomalies. Useful if you often experience things like this. Also useful if you want to know how many Doc CALs are assigned to users (without checking individual document assignments, can become tiresome), and how many of them should get a Named CAL instead.

See Qlikview Server CAL Manager

Create 2 qvw files with the same name and in the same location of the docs you deleted.  These 2 new files can be empty, the only thing that matters is that the name is the same name as the files you deleted. Then you can go to the QMC and remove the doc CALs.

Hello,

I've used Resolution 3 (Clear the license information and reapply again ).

But note that If you clear your license you have to activate all document-calls again.

I have now all my doc-calls available.

Thanks,

Kris
