This is in the server manual. " Running realtime antivirus protection on the server degrades the performance of QlikView Server. It is recommended that the user documents, source documents, log directories, and .pgo files are excluded from the anti-virus scanning."
• As stated in the QlikView Server/Publisher Reference Manual, please ensure that all anti-virus, backup, or system-wide scans are not scanning the QlikView directories. Be sure to explicitly exclude any QlikView directory as well as the file types .qvw, .qvd, .shared, .meta, .dat, and .pgo.
Well, I had a conversation with one Trend Micro expert and he said regardless of the exclusions, Trend Micro will still scan does folders with exclusion and the only way to stop it, is to fully stop the Antivirus. Now, you can confirm this by using a processes monitor, which you can tell that the Antivirus still touching those excluded folders. You can use the following Process monitor: Process Monitor
