QlikView documents show up for users that do not have a Document Cal assigned?

Hi,

In our portal we have two QlikView documents. Document #1 has a number of QlikView users assigned to it, using Document CALs. These users are not assigned to Document #2.

However, when a user browses to the QlikView portal and logs in, ALL documents are shown, regardless if the user has a Document CAL assigned to it or not. I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour (we're using 10.0.9086.7), but if it is, then my question is how to hide QlikView documents in a portal for specific users?

the visibility of the documents is controlled by windows file permissions.  assign 'read' permissions to users or groups that should 'see' the document.

Hi Tammy,

I have already revoked all rights for those users to the folders that contain documents that they are not allowed to see. But they're still showing up in the portal. Any other suggestions?

Its definitely an issue with your permissions. Check the local file-level permission also, to make sure it's not different from what you expect at the folder level.
