Qlikview App Usage Monitoring

Is there an easy way to monitor usage of our Qlikview Apps . We can get session info from the server but this only gives info on sessions for apps accessed via the access point , we have some apps which users open from within folders (not on the access point) but we cannot monitor usage of these at present . Any help much appreciated .

There is nothing native in QlikView that will allow you to monitor app usage when qvws are opened from the file system.  A couple of possibilities would be.

1. Install one of the many windows file audit/monitor tools and watch those directories.

2. Add an OnOpen macro the document that writes a log record when the document is opened.  This is not foolproof as users can suppress the OnOpen trigger when they open.
