Each Morning when i go to open the Access point I am greeted with a No Server Message.
Looking through the log files i can see a file called Exit.log which has the following text.

Has anyone run into similar problems, or able to shed and light?
Many thanks
Gerard
Hello Gerard,
You are getting this as you have another QlikView Server running on the same network that is using the same license. You either need to stop that other server, or get a license that allows for 2 instances of QVS to be running/a 2nd license.

Hi, I have same issue, do you have solution for this?
I'm running 2 QVS with 2 different license in the same segment network, is it a problem?
Hi,
What is showing in the QlikView Server event logs? Also, you can use the poser tools to check to see what servers are on the network and the license they are using.
Bill
Same question is posted around the same time in several other (very old) threads:
Problems with QlikView Access Point / user performance
QVS Services stopping several times a day (owned by Ano Milo)
I think the last one is the better one to discuss this issue, as the OP has the ability to close the discussion (green balloon) once the issue has been resolved.
