Qlikview freezes when reloads data

Hi Guys,

I've a serious problem with my qvw files; when I try reloading data the script execution freezes and I have to force quit the application by task manager. Into log file i've no error. Any suggestions?

Hi Boris, if I try from my notebook no problem, from QV Server it freezes

Did you try creating a new qvw file?

Did you change the path of your excel file when trying from QV Server?

From QV Server if I try loading a qvd file it works, If I try loading from a DB, a txt file, an excel file It freezes. I'm going crazy

You mean on the server with the desktop client or performed from the qlikview server? Also change the filepath to the excel to another folder where you could be sure that you and/or the user from the server have definite access-rights.

Take a look on the anti-virus or similar tools which could block certain files.

Are you using this path on the server ?

If I try from server the Path is C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Test.xls, when I try from my notebook the path is C:\Users\Giuseppe\Desktop\Test.xls. ​The path isn't the problem, it's something with the engine because until last week it worked fine
