I've got a QlikView Document and it works quite well. It'll be reloaded by server every night. That works except on Thursday. There's a piece of code in script that is only fired on Thursday. I suppose it's because of an EXECUTE statement in that part of the script.
I don't get any error message or anything else. But when I look into the QEMC the task on this document is still running. Normal reload time would be something around 15 minutes. It's starts at 2 am. I guess if I wouldn't stop the reload task it would run forever.
Any idea?
In the Edit Script window, have you given the script permission to run EXECUTE commends in the Settings tab in the lower part of the screen?
Karl
Yes, I set that check mark. And I run that script one time manually to set "Give Access".
When it is still running and doesn't respond, is it taking up any CPU?
Karl
No, as far as I see CPU time and usage are not changing. It seems to be constant.
What command are you running in the execute statement? Does the user that runs the QlikView services and therefore the reloads have administrator access?
Karl
EXECUTE should run an external application that converts a text document (created by STORE in QV) to an Excel Sheet. This is done by command prompt and works without any problem when I reload manually.
Yes, the given user is an admin account.
Yes, it's a Win 2008 R2 Server. I'll check that.
