Hi All,
I have applied the section Access based on NTNAME in my application. When I am scheduling the application for reload using publisher and opening it throught access point it shows error mgs 'Failed to open Document,You dont have access to this Document'
But when I implement the Section Access without the Publisher its working fine .
I want to implement the section access based on NTNAME and reload the application using the Publisher.. Can any one guide me what more I have to consider in the section access to achive this .
Regards,
ELakkian.
Is the reload being done or do you get an error?
Is the account running QlikView Distribution Service added to the Section Access script?
You can´t use a group in the Section Access script for the Service account, it needs to be added as user.
The reload has no errors and it is being published correctly.
the account running the distribution is added to the script as admin.
If you have strict exclusion toggled on and you do not have any data associated to the account you are logging in under it will give you that message, ensure you are able to view all data as an administrator
not sure about this.
but you can try. --- you can add your name in the security tab. screen shot attached.

the service account is not a group...
My name is already in there with a full control

as an admin i have full privilege to view all data . But still the error is coming.

Hi,
The service account has to have rights to all the data. So, lets look at the below. Being you are doing the reduction the ADMIN below will on see the following US,UK and FR. The ADMIN will not see DE. The reason is the *. If you want the ADMIN to see everything remove the start. You would also have to put the service account in here also with the LINK being Blank.
One more thing to know when the ADMIN logins into the document they are USER at that point. You are only an ADMIN when you open the document in the desktop Client.
