Acess Denied to the Qlikiew Document - Document faled to load

Hi all,

I have been given a  qvw docucment, when I tried to open it I get this error message:

Access denied to the Qlikview document.

When I click on close the pop up message box I get this message:

The document//........failed to load

Please  can you advise to the possible reasons and solutions.

The original developer that developed the document has left the organisation so my manager has asked IT to grant me access, am keeping fingers crossed, hope this will work..

Lets hope that works... but I am sure IT can't help in any other way unless they have access to the document. Only a user who has access to the document can help.

If that doesn't help. I fear that you can no more open that file, unless you have backup copy of the same.

I guess you dont have access to the particular location on your server.Please take modify access to the location and the file.

My Manager and another member of the team can open the document, but I can not open it.

Then as I mentioned earlier, it is easy.

One of them can open the document, add your name as well as a part of admin, reload and save it and you'll be able to open it.

I have access now, it works!

I added my name to an access script that contains the list of authorised users and I reload the script. And It works fine.
