Hi ,
I want to design a bar chart which has two dimension and one expression , And i want to show secondary dimension under the chart .
I tried using CTRL +SHIFT but secondary dimension is displaying as Row under the chart but i want it in single column is their is any way to do it ,
i am attaching image , i want to display the chart as per image
please help me
There's not much to it. Use both Reset buttons to the left side on the Bar Chart->Properties->General tab to reset your bar chart to a default layout. Then, using Ctrl-Shift, grab the secondary dimension legend and resize it or move it to the bottom of your chart, all the while trying to avoid it getting black borders. Black borders mean that the legend has rotated 90deg and become horizontal.
Drop it wherever you like, but don't move too close the the chart bottom. You can subsequently resize the legend into position and to a smaller size, and it will get scroll buttons that allow you to navigate to the other colors and legend items. Less waste of screen real estate...
Single column under the Primary dimension ?
Hi,
Hold CTRL + SHIFT keys and Move the Legend part little bit up and reduce the width of the Axis and increase the height.
Can you share the document let me try.
Think that this is not possible (and would cost also too much space from the chart)
Peter
HI KrishnaPriya ,
I am attaching sample file please help me
Hi Peter,
is their any way if it uses too much space also
yes.
Surprisingly it worked:
with Cntrl + Shift move the legend to the right and it will expend to vertical.
Then move it vertical below the axis.
Thereafter move it to the left.
See attached (but looks shitty ...)
