Hi All,
I am creating new qv app sample1.qvw by using binary load sample.qvw.
Could you please what type of data will load from sample.qvw(data model, script, section acess).
How can we remove section access for sample.qvw if it applied after binary load.
How can we identified tables of data of sample.qvw form sample1.qvw?
could you please let me know the changes will effect and not effect after binary load?
Hi Rajesh,
The data model and section access will be loaded across with the binary reload.
You can not omit the Section Access for security reasons. If you need to load the same data model to another application, use a version without Section Access for that binary load.
Do note that the script itself is not being carried across.
Hi Rajesh,
In general we will load only data from binary load using one QVW.
Using binary load, all the tables loaded will be available in user facing qvw.
In the user facing QVW will apply section access, because binary reload qvw cab be re usable.
Basically, the data that is loaded by the original qvw, that's all. Binary load in effect treats the original QVW as a DATA SOURCE.

Thanks for your replay.
After loading qlikview document using binary load how can i restrict loading qvw section access?
Could you please help on that once?
Thanks,
Rajesh
Hi Rajesh,
The section access will always carry across when doing a binary load.
This is for security reasons as it would be a pretty obvious way of circumventing the data model authorization.
Create a version of the data model without section access and then when you do a binary load of the app you can apply a section access script of your liking in the "new" app.
Hi,
Binary load - loads data and access permissions from one qvw to another.
it loads all tables(data model).you can modify tables, make calculations and drop fields or tables.
but still the original qvw will be intact, modifications in new qvw doesn't reflect old qvw.
