Button to Exclude Sales by Color Name

Hi,

I'm trying to create a button that will exclude colors "MISC' and "NA" from my selections, so that I can view my Gross sales ( we have several hundred colors, I want to exclude 2).  All of the other discussions involving buttons I have read have either been date based where you can use things like "today(-1)" or included an attached .qvw that I'm somehow unable to open, so any written description is very much appreciated - thanks

maybe with 2 actions in the button (chenga field and values in image)

select in field (color (MISC|NA)

select excluded

Worked like a charm - thank you for the visual!

Side note - how did you type the vertical line you used as a separator between the colors?  I ended up just copy and pasting it from your comment into my search string

<Shift> \

should give you the | aka pipe.
