Hi,
I have create a table as under
Dept Project Amount
IT Hardware 10000.00
IT SOFTWARE 3000.00
CIVIL Furniture 100000.00
CIVIL BUILDING AT NEW LOCATION 5000000.00
.
.
.
.
.
I want this table with sub-totals on dept.
i.e.
Dept Project Amount
IT Hardware 10000.00
IT SOFTWARE 3000.00
Total 13000.00
CIVIL Furniture 100000.00
CIVIL BUILDING AT NEW LOCATION 5000000.00
Total 5100000.00
Grand Total 5113000.00
No you cannot.
You have to create the inline table and then in the charts use the Pick function then you achieve this. But why you not use the pivot table for this.
Hi Rahul,
I don't thing so we can accomplish this in straight table but for that you can use Pivot table.
Hope it will work.

In straight table, you can get the sub-totals
Try to use the Pivot table to get the sub-totals
Yes
See the attached file
Hi,
There is no default setting in Straight table, but you can do this in Pivot table easily. Anyway if you want to do this Straight table only then refer below link for solution.

Hi,
You can achieve this by doing some work around. You have to create separate column with existing project and Total/Grand Total and than link to existing column.
In expression side, you may have to use pick function to calculate total and grant total.
Make sure you are doing proper sorting order.
Thanks
Jagan,
Can you please explain the process to achieve this using Straight table.
I gone through the QVW which you have developed for the reference, but not able to see any straight table.
There is only pivot table and an Image included in Text object.
