Change Column Names

Hi All,

I have a Market field,

In that market field i have Asean Pac, Benelux etc, Now i need to get instead of Asean Pac it should be changed to ANZ, SEA, Korea,Indonesia..

Can you help me how to do it.

Hi Bharat.

What i meant is From market if it is a then to a1,b then to b1 like this the complete set. Or else we will have some filed value whose mapping equivalent we dont know. If you can provide that in a excel we can use it in apply map.

Single value can't be broken down into multiple without proper logic. Try to share a sample data set with expected output.

With a more realistic sample data set, the proposition could have been better. With this sample, you could probably try like:

Load

          If( Market='Asia Pac', Region, Market) as Market

In case, this is not what you need, please try to explain with more data columns.

Hi Tresesco,

I have a Market and Region and there in region i have ANZ, Indonesia,Korea ,SEA and Blank.

Now in Maket i have Africa, Asean Pac,Benelux,CEE, Dach etc.

Now when in Market instead of Asean Pac it should be changed to ANZ, Indonesia, Korea , SEA and rest of the markets should be there.

     Numerator,

     if(len(trim(Region))>0,Region,Market) as Region

After that you can devide the string 'ANZ  | Indonesia | Korea | SEA ' by make use of sub field function in preceding load.

Only problem i have is Now in Market i have ANZ  and SEA can you please help me how  to re-name it to Australia and NewZealand for ANZ  and South East Asia for SEA.

use The If in Region if want to replace The blank else not,.

This is working fine, but the region has been changed to Market fields.

Region fields should not be changed.

Please let me know how to do it.
