I've been having this problem for quite some time now.
My reload attempts from the Qlikview Management Console to an .accdb database fails. I created a system odbc for .mdb and .accdb microsoft access files.When building the script, I have the "Force 32 bit" ticked on. The connection example: ODBC CONNECT32 TO [testdb ;DBQ=B:\directory\testdb.accdb];
If i reload from my machine, it works, but not from the management console.
Any ideas or recommendations?
I don't know i u have spoke about this, but reloading service runs as a user define during the installation... That user is ok?
Otherwise u can try to change tha in windows service management.
C u,
Stefano.
Did you resolve your issue reloading through a QEMC task?
I'm upgrading from QV9 to QV10 and was hoping to use publisher instead of calling QV.exe(32 bit), but I'm experiencing the same issue as you.
Any information would be appreciated.
B
HI there,
The only way I could get it to work was by moving the .accdb database to the server on which QEMC resides.
Create a Microsoft Access ODBC to the .accdb database.
In your script connect to the odbc with “force 32 bit”.
Hope it helps!

I forced 32bit using an ODBC connection, but I'm unable to move the database onto the server.
Does the database need to be on the QlikView server? Are there any alternatives?
Thanks,
B
As far as I’m concerned, the db has to be on the qlik server.

Hi,
We have a few Qlikview applications reloading from .accdb files (access 2007) that do not reside on the Qlikview server. We have Qlikview version 10. I'm not sure of all of the specifics of the server, but we are using CONNECT32 in the scripts, and we also had to make sure that the user id used to log on to the qlikview server and management console has permissions to the folder where the access database resides.
Our server administrator is out for the holidays, but after that I can put someone in contact with him if we can help?
Happy Holidays!!
Karen
Hi Karen,
I've tried those things you suggested.
Help would be very much appreciated:)

Hi Lambert!
Our server guy is out of town this week, but I’d be happy to look at your connect statement for starters and see if I see anything.
Here’s one mistake that we make sometimes… hate to state the obvious, but you never know? Sometimes I use a drive letter mapping in the path to my access database while I’m developing and forget to change it to the full path for production… have you checked that?
Karen
Hi Karen,
Thanks for the hint.
Just to refresh your mind.
We want to establish a connection to a .accdb database residing on a different server than our qlikserver. I use the connect32 statement. i establish a connection when using the desktop version from our qlikserver, but when scheduling it with QEMC it fails.
I'm currently going through a couple of things(permissions on the other server etc.) with a consultant.
