Currency value mass update between currency symbols

Good morning,

I'm really hoping someone can help me.  I've currently converting an existing application from GBP to EURO's for one of our sister companies and I've changed the global settings for money from £ to € but I've now discovered that when I refresh the apps the existing 1000+ expressions don't pull in the new € symbol.  {GULP!}

Please can someone help me work out how to do a mass update of the expressions to replace the £ with €.

For future reference all my apps will use this method so it doesnt catch me out again http://community.qlik.com/thread/12662  but it's not going to help for this one.

Settings -- > Expression Overview -- > Find/Replace.

You can replace like above.. Before replace take a backup for verification.

Thank you, that works for the expressions that have the £ hard coded in the expression but it wont change the money format string held in the object.

Unless anyone can think of something quicker I may have to search for all the <Type>MONEY</Type> tags in the -PRJ files and update them as a Find/Replace.
