Since Branch current account balances required to be zero once the Accounts are finalized, I wish to know the expression that may suit to reconcile this in order to satisfy that all current account balances have been agreed & set off as required. I may present you the kind of data I loaded. I have 5 Branches namely A,B,C,D,E, A is the main Branch & others are cost centers. I have loaded trial balances of each center. They look like below.
Branch Current Account code DR CR
A 01000 1750000 350000
B 02000 100000 500000
C 03000 100000 600000
D 04000 100000 400000
E 05000 50000 250000
As can be seen in main branch, all cost centers are appeared as Debtors & balances are set off. I need an expression to be written to see whether they are agreed or not being set off. This is in order to be able to see any differences instead going through individual ledger balances.
Thanks.
Neville
What is the expected output?
I think, The business need fag but need more information related result set
Hi
Out put expected is to see the current account balances of Branches such as B,C,D,& E appearing in Trial balance of A Branch which is the Main Branch) should carry the same balances of A branch in its cost center trial balances. That is refered to as agreement of current account balances. I load the trial balances of all the Branches & help me to construct a set expression to reconcile this!
