Cyclic group with 2 dimensions but show only 1 in report

Hi All,

As the title suggests, I have a cyclic group with 2 dimensions i.e. UW_Year and Doc_Year (refer to the attached pictures). When I'm creating a report in the report editor, I want to show this chart only as per UW_Year. Any suggestions how to go about this?

do you want the report to open always with UW_Year ? and after be able to change with the cyclic group ?

Hi Youssef,

For the reporting purpose, I want to show uw_year only. Even if the user selects doc_year, the report should not change and should be based on uw_year.

removing the cyclic dimension and put only UW_YEAR as a dimension won't solve the problem ?

Create a copy of the object but replace the Cyclic group with just that dimension you want to include in your report. Put that object on one of the hidden sheets the Report Generator creates, or create a new hidden sheet and put your new object on that sheet to hide it from your document users.
