Date Greater than or equal to expression

This is probably really simple and I just can see it clearly. I have the following expression that doesn't return anything. I want anything where the EmployeeDirectory.DOHTenure is greater than or equal to. Here is the expression can anyone see anything wrong with it?

sum({<EmployeeDirectory.DOH={"$(>={vRangeStart}))"}>}EmployeeDirectory.DOHTenure)

Try this

sum({<EmployeeDirectory.DOH={'>=$(vRangeStart)'}>}EmployeeDirectory.DOHTenure)
