Default Selection in qlikview

Hi

I have two list boxes namely Specialty and Facilities Avalible as shown below,

I have a requirement where if a Speciality is selected say Allergy&Immunolgy, a Facilites Avalible related to Allergy&Immunology must be selected automatically.

So when i select Allergy and Immunolgy i Expect Facilities Avalible to display as

The same should happen for other items in the Specialty list as well.

So if i select Endocrinology and Metabolism, Facilites Avalible related to it must be selected automatically.

Please help me on this.

how do you know which value to select from the possible values in F2

Sorry Liron, I'm not the thread starter, just I'm asking my doubts

We can show of the possible values of F2 related to F1.

That could be very confusing for your users. Why do you want to do that?

If the reason is that you have an object that takes a long time to calculate unless one one Facility is selected, I suggest using conditional display or conditional calculation instead using a condition like:

     =GetPossibleCount([Facilities Available]) = 1
