Direct discovery multi table support

Hi All,

Direct Discovery supports multi table scenario.

Does it mean that all multi tables accessed by DD should be joined together or tables could stay separated?

Example scenario in Direct Discovery:

Table A (Fact big table) join table B; <--Chart X that shows calculations

Table C (Fact big table) join table D; <--Chart Y that shows calculations

Thanks

Regards

Matteo

Until what was called Direct Discovery 2.0 which came with 11.20 SR5  I think you had to join to be able to use multiple tables. From DD 2.0 and onwards you can have multiple tables but there can only be one table per chart. As long as you have different charts you're OK.

Here is a clip from the QlikView 11.2 Direct Discovery Addendum for SR7:

Hi ,

DD support muti table, i think we can create mutiple table through direct query in data model as well as joining multiple table in single table.
