Hi Rob,
I wanted to know if the Document Analyzer has the ability to read the path of a table from a database and its content. Also, will it be able to read text files format too. Or this is meant only for qvw's?
(My question might be wrong but just curious to know if it works for any other document format apart from qvw?)
Thanks
Aarohi,
DA reads qvw files only,

Thanks Rob !
Hi-
first of all thanks for the model.
I downloaded the updated version-V2.6
I'm working on a very large model
(8.5 GB)
tables containing millions of records.
I received an error message:
out of memory object:
Out of object memory
LOAD
ExpressionKey,
MapSubstring('FieldMap', Expression) as x
RESIDENT References
Is there a way to fix it?
Thank you
Best regards
Please contact me on the Contact form on Contact | Qlikview Cookbook. I'll need to get a copy of your metadata folder to diagnose the problems.
Are you 32bit or 64bit?

The "Out of object memory" script error is fixed in an updated, version 2.7

Hi Rob,
My document has many dynamic dimension calculations. Few of the pivot tables dimensions are dynamic so that a user can select whether he wants to see product or supplier etc in the dimension
Is there any ways to calculate the statistics for such objects. It should calculate for the current selection whether the dimensions dynamic expression are evaluating to supplier etc
For example the below expression is in the dimension tab of a chart
$(=%Dimension)
Can the document analyzer calculate the statistics of such charts having this kind of dimensions?
Regards
Syed
DA captures the calc time for an object in the state it is in when the document is opened. So you would have to save to save the document with that Dimension selected.
