I've posted a major update "V2" to the Document Analyzer tool. It is available for download in the Tools section of QlikviewCookbook.com here Document Analyzer.
The primary function of Document Analyzer remains to identify unused fields that can be removed from your model. It has been expanded to assist in identifying slow charts.
There are a number of improvements over the 1.15 version, including bug fixes, a new UI, object calc times and improved analysis of variable and expression usage.
An important change is that only qvws that have been saved in QV10SR2 or later may be analyzed with this version. If you need to analyze an older document, save it first in QV10.
if a prj directory exists, it will be leveraged for the analysis. This can speed up the analysis run for documents with a lot of objects.
Use this thread if you have comments or questions. Enjoy.

V2.8 is now available for download with these changes:
- Added "Missing Field" (missing Dimension) Recommendation.
- Fixed link between variable and objects that use them.
- Corrected issue with hidden fields sometimes not being detected as Key Fields.
- Added warning on Tables sheet when API reports zero tables for a field.
- Using a lighter icon for the "open" links and added links on Summary sheet.
- When memstats reports non-numeric value for Field Size, it will be treated as zero.
- Added "Expression Uses Variable" field on Expressions sheet.
- Added timestamps to Extract log lines.

Hi Rob,
Is there a dimension in the new document analyser, which can give me label for my calculated dimension.
Thanks
Rajan,
The label property for Dimensions is not currently captured. I'll add it in the next update.

Hi Rob!
Is it possible to analyse the Qlick Sense applications (QVF) with your nice tool?
I tried to open DocAnalyser.qvw in Desktop, then save as QVF and import in QS hub, but it shows the blank app with nothing inside ((
It's not yet available for QS, but I'm working on it.

Can't wait for the QS version!
Hi Rob,
It seems the Document Analyzer cannot "see" variables in sheets with Alternate States. Am I doing something wrong or is this the same case as in having hidden sheets.
Thanks,
Catalin
