Hello all,
I'm new to this so please bear with me. I hope I can express this issue clearly enough to get some help.
I have 2 excel files (I've simplified this somewhat but I hope you get the gist)
file1 contains a RefNum column and a Stage column (RefNum values are unique in this file)
RefNum | Stage |
---|---|
SLTN0000001234 | Design |
SLTN0000001235 | Build |
SLTN0000001236 | Build |
SLTN0000001237 | Live |
file2 contains a RefNum column and a version column (RefNum values may have multiples in this file)
RefNum | Version |
---|---|
SLTN0000001234 | ver1 |
SLTN0000001234 | ver1 |
SLTN0000001235 | ver1 |
SLTN0000001235 | ver2 |
SLTN0000001235 | ver2 |
SLTN0000001236 | ver3 |
SLTN0000001237 | ver1 |
SLTN0000001237 | ver3 |
What I need to do is be able to show something like this in Qlikview be it in a chart or a table or whatever.
Version | Design | Build | Live |
---|---|---|---|
ver1 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
ver2 | 0 | 2 | 0 |
ver3 | 0 | 1 | 1 |
I can probably do this in Excel but I'm trying to avoid manipulating excel data and need to be able to do this in QV.
Any ideas?
Andy
