Hello!
I would need help, how I can remove the gray box that I have. It seems that one can write in it and then right-click and it says nothing about open IME, display Unicode control characters
I do not know how I got to where it and I do not know how I can remove it
Does anyone know?
Hi,
Click on "Settings" in main menu and click on "Sheet Properties" on the sub menu. OR press "Ctrl+Alt+S" together.
Slect the "CO01" ObjectID from the list then click the "Delete" button to remove the object.
Regards,
Sajeevan
You can try to select it (just click once on the gray box) and then press the Delete button.
Kind regards,
Henco
It might be a sheet object, such as an empty Text Object - in this case, simply highlight it and press "Delete".
On the other hand, it might be part of your default sheet background. Maybe a logo image, while the image file is missing? One place to check would be "Sheet Properties", in the "General tab. If Sheet properties refer to the "Document properties", then look into "Settings" - "Document Properties" and see what default background is specified there.
regards,
Oleg
Hello again!
I can not just delete the item. I find nothing in the document properties that are consistent with the small box.
This box is available on all sheets and looks the same
Is it a background image maybe?
Hi
Maybe, but how do I remove it? I have tried everything possible but I can not remove it.
If it is a background you should be able to find it in the sheet properties (general)
But I doubt that it is an image because it acts like an object.
Can you upload it (or just one tab) here please then we can take a look.
Hello again!
Now I loaded up a QlikView document (see above), where you can see the gray box. I deleted everything else that's in documentet.
It's a custom object. I can remove it by selecting it and then press Delete.
Or right mouse button and Remove.
If you can not do that it must be a security thing.
Did you check the Security tab in your user setting?
Right click the sheet and select Objects.
You will see a custom object listed.
Select the custom object and click Delete.
