Hi,
I need help on this below issue.
In my access point we have 30 dashboards, each dashboard can access different users.
Now I want to restrict my access point like when User A(has license to 1 dashboard) he can see only his licensed/Accessible Dashboard instead of seeing all 30.
Is it possible to show/Hide the dashboards in Access point based on there access/License.
Here, Dashboard's doesn't have any section access also.

HI,
No Named user cal Cannot see all documents unless he have access to.
You need to distribute document to all the users you need give access to.
If it answered, please close the thread by selecting appropriate answers.

Hi,
you have to set permissions on folder and/or qvw files (in Windows)
User A will see only document with permission for A, etc.

Hi,
Do you have publisher?
If yes all security will be handled via publisher, While distributing select named user and just add those whoom you want give access to.
If you don't have publisher, then follow this post.

Can u please explain bit more.
How to set the permission on QVW file ?
Hi,
In QlikView server, if your assigning Named cal to a particular user he ll be able to view all the dashboards @ access point but once he had given folder access to the specific application then only he will be able to access that application...
On Other hand, if your assigning Document CAL to a particular user then he ll be able to see only specific app./dashboard @ access point to which he has assigned folder access and not all application...
Hope this helps
Thanks,
Vignesh
Right click on qvw file (or folder if you want to store into a folder same typology of files) - Security then you chose an user, press Modify, Deny all to users that you want dont' want to see that dashboard and Allow write, read, etc... to users allowed to see the dashboard.

Did you solve?

Hi Simone,
Please apologize for the delay. Last 3 days I was on leave.
The Main Problem here Applications are there in the production environment, so I couldn't able to do this settings in each folder. Admin has advised to me instead of folder level access is there any possibility in App (QVW) level.
Please suggest.
In this case you need to purchase Qlikview Publisher

It's the only way I know, without Publisher.
